Addington Coffee Co-op

After yum cha at North & South, we went across the road to Addington Coffee Co-op for coffee.

I have been here a couple of times before, and really enjoyed its cozy and relaxed atmosphere.  It was converted from a car repair garage, and has an open plan with a couch area and a table area.  Staff are generally quite friendly and the food is pretty nice too (will have to do a different post on that!).

The cafe uses Jail Breaker coffee, and beans are available to be purchased.  I enjoyed their coffee, which has a good quality and full flavour.  They also have a variety of different drinks, including milkshakes which are served in glass milk bottles.  The orders are taken at the counter, and they use a variety of country flags to keep track of your order.

I had my usual latte.  Nice coffee, although slightly burned this time.

Each coffee also comes with their own unique tea spoon, from various places in various shapes and colours.

Chocolate caramel slice

Since we didn't get to have our egg tart from North & South, we got a chocolate caramel slice to share.  The bite size was just enough of sweet to go with our coffee.  Yum!

Defintely recommend this place for hanging out with friends and for good coffee and food.  Try their french toast with pink candy floss and maple syrup, or choose other brunch options from their menu.

  1. Our slice of cookies and cream cheesecake was topped with lots of chocolate cookie crumbs. The cake was delicious with lots of cookies in the middle. It would certainly please a chocolate lover, although I don't think I would be able to finish the slice by myself as it was a bit rich.small business for sale Calgary
