Lindt Chocolat Cafe is a must place to visit for chocolate lovers. There are 3 stores in Central Sydney, but I usually visit the Darling Harbour store for its location. It also helps to be seeing Lindt Chocolat Cafe on special Lindt Chocolat trains which does the loop along Darling Harbour. Just follow the train to chocolate heaven!

Lindt chocolate waffle |
Chocolate for breakfast may be too much for some, but I just love it. The Lindt chocolate waffle is so good, I can eat it for breakfast everyday! It comes with warm Belgian waffles with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and drizzled with Lindt milk chocolate sauce. Yum! The chocolate sauce is so devine, it's a sin to waste it. So me and my friend tried to eat every last drop of it, but stopped at using our fingers (only becase it was such a public place!). Although we did have to share it, as it was a reasonable portion. There is also a chocolate lover version, with Lindt dark chocolate ice cream in place of the vanilla.

Opera |
The Opera is a slice of luxury. It has layers of dark chocolate, coffee butter cream, almond sponge soaked in coffee syrup, and finishs with a 24 carat gold leaf on top. I don't think cakes can go any fancier than that! I really enjoyed this cake, especially since it has 2 of my favourite foods - chocolate and coffee! Almost like a tiramisu but with much less cream. Highly recommended.

Blueberry Chocolat Mousse |
The Blueberry Chocolat Mousse is also divine, with layers of chocolate hazelnut biscuit, blueberry compote, and dark chocolate mousse. The tangy blueberry was a good balace to the sweetness of the chocolate. Another yummy cake!

A selection of Lindt chocolate ice cream |
You can't go wrong with a nice chocolate ice cream! And this was great! My friend ordered this, and as seen in the photo, I managed to get an extra spoon! I am sure ice cream taste better when you share!

Lattes with Macarons |
The Lindt Chocolat Cafe has a wonderful display room full of chocolate blocks, drinking chocolates, and little individually wrapped lindor balls. There are cabinets with slices of delicious cakes, and various gorgeously coloured macarons. I have to confess macarons don't particularly interest me, but I couldn't help but to try these delicate little sweets. I had the chocolate macaron which was nice particularly with the latte. But I still prefer the waffles and the cakes.
So if you are ever in Sydney (or Melbourne), go visit Lindt Chocolat Cafe. For breakfast if you are a big chocolate lover like me, or afternoon tea. Simply delicious!
